What does influencer marketing software really cost?
Tools for finding creators, contacting them and running campaigns, priced by how many creators you look at and approach a month. Most of this market won't publish a price at all; these are the ones that do, and what they charge on top.

The short answer
Most of this market hides its prices. Of the eleven products checked, six publish none and take only demo or sales calls: Upfluence, HypeAuditor, Aspire, Later Influence, Brandwatch Influence and Meltwater. Upfluence and Meltwater also have a 12-month minimum. The five below are the ones you can price yourself.
Heepsy is cheapest at every size: $89 a month (about £66.49) for 25 or 100 creators, and $199 (about £148.67) for 400. At 400, GRIN is $200 (about £149.42), Modash $599 (about £447.52) and Influencity £1,048.
The bigger cost is often a cut of what you pay creators. GRIN's $200 Starter adds 10% to every deposit you make to pay creators (Free 20%, Growth 7%, Scale 5%): on Starter a $1,000 deposit costs $1,100. Collabstr takes 10% of each order (5% on Premium), and creators pay 15% of their payout. Modash's creator payments are free up to $10,000 a year, then 5%.
After Heepsy: at 25 creators, Influencity Discover (£148) and GRIN (about £149.42); at 100, GRIN, then Modash Essentials at $299 (about £223.39) and Influencity Professional (£298). Collabstr Premium fits only up to 50 creators, at $399 (about £298.10).
Monthly prices hide behind yearly ones. Modash's page opens on $199 a month billed yearly; month to month it is $299. Influencity's monthly plans also include less, not just cost more: monthly Professional has 100 tokens and 1 user, the yearly plan 150 tokens and 3 users.
Contact details are often a separate limit. Heepsy Starter emails creators through Heepsy but won't show or export their addresses; that needs Plus. Modash Essentials gives 150 email unlocks against 300 opened profiles, a limit it says is there "to protect influencers from receiving exploitative offers and spam".
Allowances don't carry over. Heepsy re-locks every unlocked profile when your billing month renews, so reopening the same creator next month costs another credit. GRIN's free plan is a trial in practice: 2 live campaigns, 10 gifts in total, no export of contact emails and a 20% fee.
When the cheapest is not the answer
- A fee on creator payments can outgrow the subscription. GRIN says that on fees alone Starter costs less than Free once you fund about $2,000 a month for creators, Growth less than Starter above about $10,000, and Scale less than Growth above about $50,000.
- Networks differ. Heepsy covers Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn; Modash, Influencity and Collabstr cover Instagram, TikTok and YouTube; GRIN's pages don't list its networks.
- Seats and tracking are capped. Heepsy Starter has 5 team seats and tracks 5 creators' content at once (Plus 10 seats, 100 creators); Modash Essentials has 2 team members and tracks 100 creators; Influencity's monthly Discover and Professional have 1 user; GRIN isn't priced per seat.
- Collabstr is a marketplace, not an outreach tool. You hire from its own creators at the prices they list, through its chat and campaign briefs, rather than emailing anyone you find.
- Annual billing is cheaper, but locks you in. Paid yearly, Heepsy is $69 / $149 a month, Modash $199 / $499, Collabstr $249 / $333 and Influencity from $158; GRIN sells monthly only.
- Prices are as shown to a server in Europe, before VAT. A vendor that sets its currency by location may show a UK visitor something different, and dollar prices move with the exchange rate.

How the numbers are worked out
monthly cost = the cheapest monthly-billed plan whose published limits fit that many creators in a month, where each creator is one full profile opened (audience and performance data) and one first outreach message; follow-ups not counted
Each tool limits something different, mapped like this:
- Heepsy: one advanced-profile credit and one outreach credit per creator
- GRIN: no published cap on profiles opened or messages sent (it caps creators searched, gifts and live campaigns), so Starter fits every size
- Influencity: one "creator insights token" per creator, assumed: the page doesn't say what a token buys
- Modash: one opened profile and one email unlock per creator; the email unlocks are the tighter limit
- Collabstr: one audience report per creator vetted; 50 a month is its self-serve maximum
